Emily R. Brink (1940-)

Brink was ed­u­cat­ed at Cal­vin Coll­ege, Grand Ra­pids, Mi­chi­gan; the Un­i­ver­si­ty of Mi­chi­gan; and North­west­ern Un­i­ver­si­ty, Ev­ans­ton, Il­li­nois (PhD, mu­sic the­o­ry). She taught mu­sic at Trin­i­ty Chris­tian Col­lege, Pal­os Heights, Il­li­nois (1967-74), and the Un­i­ver­si­ty of Il­li­nois, Cham­paign-Ur­ba­na (1974-83). She then worked as a mu­sic and li­tur­gy ed­it­or, and al­so served as or­gan­ist and choir di­rect­or at Eb­e­ne­zer Chris­tian Re­formed Church (CRC), Ber­wyn, Il­li­nois (1967-71); Or­land Park, Il­li­nois, CRC (1972-74); Hes­sel Park CRC, Cham­paign-Ur­ba­na, Il­li­nois (1975-83); and Eas­tern Av­e­nue CRC, Grand Ra­pids, Mi­chi­gan.
