Born: August 12, 1831, near Bremen, Fairfield County, Ohio.
Died: September 28, 1887, Elkhart, Indiana.
Buried: Olive Cemetery, Wakarusa, Indiana.
Henry was the son of Henry Brenneman and Barbara Beery, and husband of Matilda Blosser (married 1854).
He was ordained a Mennonite deacon in 1865, a post he held for over two decades.
In 1867, he moved to Elkhart, Indiana, where he worked for the Mennonite Publishing Company.
He also wrote for the Children’s Column
in Herald of Truth, and taught and worked in Sunday schools for many years.
