Biography

Oliver was the son of Will­iam El­more Boone and Em­ma El­la Cook, and hus­band of Ev­ie Bow­den (mar­ried 1926).

He and Ev­ie pro­duced nu­mer­ous ti­tles as a song writ­ing team.

Near the end of Ol­iv­er’s life, he was pre­si­dent and ge­ne­ral man­ag­er of the Con­ven­tion Mu­sic Com­pa­ny in Mont­gom­ery, Ala­ba­ma.
