Biography

A self-taught mu­si­cian, and son of a corn mill­er, Bog­gett lived in Kip­pax his en­tire life. He was choir­mas­ter at the lo­cal Wes­ley­an cha­pel, and was ac­tive in va­ri­ous de­part­ments of church work.
