Biography

At one time a Tra­veling Fel­low of Cam­bridge Uni­ver­si­ty (BA 1850, MA 1860), Blunt took Ho­ly Or­ders in 1851.

From 1856–60, he was In­cum­bent of Crew Green, Che­shire. In 1860, he be­came rec­tor of St. Luke’s, Chel­sea.

He wrote his hymns for fes­tiv­als at St. Luke’s.
