Biography

In 1917, Best pub­lished the ar­ti­cle Pa­tri­ot­ic Mu­sic in the Grades in the Train­ing School Quar­ter­ly (Vol­ume 4, num­ber 3, Oct-Nov-Dec 1917). Ap­par­ent­ly, this was a pub­li­ca­tion of the East Ca­ro­li­na Teach­ers Train­ing School in Green­ville, North Ca­ro­li­na.

It seems like­ly Best was a North Ca­ro­li­na na­tive. She may have died as late as 1948.
