Biography

Beaty was edu­cat­ed at Christ Church Ca­thed­ral in Dub­lin.

He served as or­gan­ist and mu­sical in­struct­or at the Moly­neux Asy­lum for Blind Wo­men (1824); or­gan­ist of the Free Church, Great Charles Street (1828–77); and choir­mas­ter at Christ Church Ca­thed­ral (1830–72).
