Biography

Josiah was the son of Eph­ra­im Kel­ly Alwood and Eli­za­beth Sals­ber­ry. He married twice: to Eli­za­beth Di­ni­us and Sa­ra Su­san­na Hodg­es

He was a cir­cuit rid­ing preach­er in the Am­er­ican Mid­west, and lat­er an el­der in the North Ohio Con­fer­ence of the Unit­ed Breth­ren Church.
