Biography

Lee was the son of Dee Ziff Ab­er­na­thy and Cla­ra Braw­ner, and hus­band of Ed­na Lou­ise Am­mons.

He was in­duct­ed in­to the Gos­pel Mu­sic As­so­ci­ation Hall of Fame in 1973, and the Sou­thern Gos­pel Mu­sic As­so­cia­tion Hall of Fame in 1997.
